Over 10,000 Visits!

According to our Clustr Map, the Be Good Humans Room 12 blog has had over 10,000 since November 2010.  That is so exciting.

Take a closer look at the map to see all the places in the world where people have visited us from. From which cities in the US or from which countries have we had the most visits? (Hint, the larger the red dot, the more visits from that place.)

  1. To Sunnyland fourth grade,
It’s so exciting. I can’t believe that our blog has so many people and all over the world but it’s only ranked 576. I can remember a time when it was ranked in the 300’s.

    2. Dear Micah,
Do you think that Mr.Pahl emailed friends and then his friends emailed their friends, and it kept going in a chain like that?

  3. Dear Mr. Pahl,

I see many, many people who have seen this blog from the U.S. I see one from Hawaii which is pretty great and a few from Canada and Alaska. There are also an abundance of red dots in Europe. Also Asia, Australia, South America and Africa have a bunch. Really the only continent we’re missing is Antarctica, but I dought that hardly anyone has blog sightings from there.

    Sincerely, Miranda

    2. Dear Maximus,
I also wonder what the yellow dots are for. I think they might be for people who just do not stop looking at our blog. Did you see that there are even people China and Russia that don’t even really understand our language!
      Sincerely,
      Neri :)

  11. Hi everyone,

It's been fun reading your comments and questions. Let's see...many people know about our blog for a variety of reasons. First, I ask your family members to share it, so if you have family in different parts of the country or world, they might be looking at the blog and checking up on you. Second, I am part of many professional teacher groups who focus on improving education by using technology. I share a lot of what we do with them. I think some of them might also share it with their students. There are certainly people who "accidentally" find our site, but the overwhelming majority of visitors come here because they think what you are doing is pretty sweet.

Next, the yellow dots are people who are on the site right now. When I took the picture of the screen, it looks like there were 5 or 6 people from around the world who were visiting us at that time.

Elizabeth, thank you for sharing with your family! I hope they come back and check out the site to see what you're up to.

    Keep the questions coming!
    Mr. Pahl

  13. Dear 4th graders,
I’m surprised how many views we have on our blog 10,000! I didn’t know people in Hawaii, Europe, Asia, and Australia look at our blog. I’m wondering what are the little yellow dots on the map mean? I’m also wondering how do people all around the world know about our blog because I don’t think many people search http://begoodhumans.blogspot.com.
