I enjoy that we cook and learn about food and then make it every Tuesday. My favorite week so far was the fried rice. I loved the soy flavor. I love to cook food a lot. I am thankful for Mara because she is a sweet and smart person.

My favorite class for nutrition was when we made apple sauce. I also really loved the class when we made potatoes latkes. The apple sauce had little chunks of the apple in it and the potato latkes were like hash browns.

  4. I'm so glad that you have the constant reminder to be nice and work hard, because there are very few things in life that cannot be accomplished by working hard and being nice. I love people who try their best and do it with a smile.

I think it is very fun doing nutrition in our class. We have done many different kinds of foods in our class. At the beginning of the year, we were out at our school garden! It was really fun when we tasted new veggies in the garden.

  9. Dear Sarah,
Cooking was a very fun way to learn about veggies and fruit. I eat more veggies now because of nutrition. In nutrition we do not taste any veggies, we are now gardening and harvesting. We are now growing cabbage right now. If you could walk in our classroom and see cabbage sprouting out from under the deep dark soil.
