Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteScary an asteroid that close to earth we could get crushed.
From, Benjamin
Dear Benjamin,
DeleteIt would be scary if an asteroid hit our beautiful Earth everything would look trashed after that or even worse!
Sincerely, Ellis
Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to know that an asteroid passed that close to Earth. I would like to know more about it.
-Sam, a student in Mr.Pahls’ class.
Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds very dangerous and hazardous. If it was to hit Earth, it would be very, very disastrous.
Millions would be hurt or killed and so all of planet Earth would be counting on it to not change course.
Sincerely, Miranda
Dear Miranda,
DeleteI agree with you, a lot of people would get hurt if the asteroid hit Earth. We were very lucky that the asteroid didn't hit us. If it did hit Earth, I wonder where the asteroid would hit Earth.
Sincerely,
Charlize
Dear Mr.Pahl,
ReplyDeleteI don’t think that it was “Close” to earth I think it was “really far from earth” because I think that over 5,000,000 Km away is not close…
Sincerely,
Eric
Dear Eric,
DeleteI agree the asteroid was very far away. Plus it was only the size of two football fields. It wouldn’t kill millions just probably a thousand people.
From, Maximus
Dear Maximus,
DeleteI definitely agree with you and Eric I don’t think it was close at all because 5,000,000 is really far away from earth and probably it would kill thousands of people or if were both wrong it would kill millions of people.
Sincerely, Danny
Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteI can’t believe that an asteroid pasted that close to earth. That is pretty amazing yet dangerous at the same time. If it hit us, millions of people would’ve been severely hurt or killed. We our really lucky it did not hit us. I am so relived.
Sincerely, Amaya.
Dear Everyone,
ReplyDeleteIn the asteroid video on national geographic site the asteroid is pretty scary. Is it going to happen to us and destroy all of us? Personally I think that an asteroid might hit us.
From Cam
Dear Mr. Pahl and students,
ReplyDeleteI can’t believe that the asteroid was just that close to Earth! I don’t know what would happen if that asteroid got in our atmosphere.
Sincerely, Kyle
Dear Mr. Pahl and students,
ReplyDeleteI wonder what would happen if an asteroid that size would land in one of our oceans? I wonder how big of a wave that would create?
Sincerely,
Matt
Dear 4th Grade,
ReplyDeleteI can’t believe that an asteroid was really close to hitting earth, we are lucky that it didn’t get closer because it would've actually hit earth causing it to hit land and destroy a lot of homes and lives. Even if it hit water it would have killed fish and rare habitats causing extinction. Still we really are lucky.
Sincerely Izabelle,
Dear Cam,
ReplyDeleteDo you think the chances of us getting hit by an asteroid are very good? I'm not sure how much land there is in comparison to water on Earth. Do you know? I'm curious to hear what you think!
Sincerely, Kristin from Mr. Pahl's Western class
