Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteI really like the pep talk video. It really encouraged me to do amazing thing like have fun with other people or make new friend. But why so many people are so dull? Maybe if you can show the video to other people so they might stop being dull any more.
Sincerely, Dyna
Dear Mr. Pahl, the Pep Talk episode was a very awesome episode because it showed that not only grownups can make good speeches, kids can, too. I loved the Kid President’s dances because they were very unique and super funny! Thank you for showing us this video.
ReplyDeleteSincerely, Fiona Cooper.
Dear Ella,
ReplyDeleteI agree I think people should learn while having fun.
From, Oscar
Dear Oscar,
DeleteI think you are right about having fun while learning. It just makes sense don,t you think? Because if you are not having fun then you are not learning and if you are not learning than you are not having fun.
From, Gavin
Dear Gavin you are so right about having fun while learning. If you don’t have fun while you learn then you won’t be learning at all. From, Julia
DeleteDear Julia
DeleteThank you for the complement. By the way I posted a comment that says asks the class what there awesome is and says to reply but I can just ask you I this comment what is your awesome?
From, Gavin
Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteI think we could learn from this kid and he has some good things to say but if he is going to compare stuff to Michal Jordan he should learn more about basket ball.
From, Claire
Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome for me to watch Gavin and Oscar learn to ski every Sunday. They both have improved SO much! Someday, they may even be as awesome as me:) I love that they both have so much fun learning to ski.
Brad Jones a.k.a. Mr. Awesome
Dear Brad,
DeleteMe and Oscar are already more awesome than you at skiing. And you should not have the name Mr.Awesome it should be Mr. Not As Awesome As Oscar And Gavin. By the way have you ever skied The Shoot?
From, Gavin
Dear Room 12,
ReplyDeleteThank you for introducing me to Kid President. I think I may need to show this video to my 6th Grade Students as well as some of my family and friends. Who couldn’t use a pep talk? Right?
I’m trying to think what my favorite part of this video clip is, but I like a lot of what this young man has to say. Here’s some of my favorite quotes that I am going to spend some time thinking about – especially how they relate to my life, and how I live it:
“Stop being boring.”
“I’m on your team, be on my team.”
“You got air coming through your nose. You got a heartbeat. That means it is time to do something!”
“We could make every day better for each other.”
Enjoy your day Room 12 and choose that road to awesomeness whenever you can – even if it has some bumps, rocks and other obstacles along the way.

Kate, Gavin’s Mom

Dear Sebastian,
DeleteI also think we need to change the world! You are also right that life is not a game. Just like school is not a game. I really like kid president because he thinks that every one has an awesome and belives that we can change the world. How about you?
