Dear Sarah 77,
DeleteI enjoy that we cook and learn about food and then make it every Tuesday. My favorite week so far was the fried rice. I loved the soy flavor. I love to cook food a lot. I am thankful for Mara because she is a sweet and smart person.
From,
Tori Mr. Pahl’s 4th grade student

Snack is cinnamon
Applesauce. By Mike
Dear Becky,
DeleteMy favorite class for nutrition was when we made apple sauce. I also really loved the class when we made potatoes latkes. The apple sauce had little chunks of the apple in it and the potato latkes were like hash browns.
Sincerely, Amaya
Dear Becky,
DeleteThere really wasn’t a class favorite. My favorite was the potatoes latkes. It was fun to cook, and make all the food.
Sincerely, Maximus
I'm so glad that you have the constant reminder to be nice and work hard, because there are very few things in life that cannot be accomplished by working hard and being nice. I love people who try their best and do it with a smile.
ReplyDelete-Steph Johnson
Dear Steph Johnson,
DeleteI think it is good to have a constant reminder to work hard and be nice also It helps me stay on task sometimes. Does your class have a sigh that reminds you and your class to work hard and be nice?
From Silas
Dear Steph,
DeleteThank you for looking at our blog and the reason that we did this blog is to tell people what we are doing and to help others work hard and be nice to others. Like a friend gave a tip in math that is being nice. Thank you.
From,
Vanessa
Dear Steph Johnson,
DeleteI took the Work Hard Be Nice picture. I thought it was a good reminder for all of the kids in any grade! Because you want to be respectful so you don’t get in trouble and you are being kind, and work hard to pass the grade and get a good education.
Sincerely, Ellis
Dear Steph Johnson,
DeleteIt is nice to have a constant reminder telling you to be nice and use all your strength to work hard it is really helpful in your life and it would probably give you a better education. Do you have any reminders Maybe in your mind?
Sincerely, Danny
Dear Steph,
DeleteI agree that it is great that every day we are re minded that we should always be kind and thankful
Because it helped me in life.
From, Avarielle
Dear Steph Johnson,
DeleteWe have the great reminder from our wonderful teacher Mr. Pahl. We see it every day we walk in the classroom, to when we leave to go home.
Sincerely, Amaya
I wish that I could have done an activity like this when I was in 4th grade! Your class is very lucky. And what a cool way to document what you are learning!
ReplyDeleteDear Kyla,
DeleteI defiantly agree with you. I tell my mom and grandmother about it and they usually say that they didn't have that kind of experience when they were in school.
Sincerely, Miranda
Dear Kyla,
DeleteI only liked some of the food we cooked but it was still fun. I only liked the tortillas the applesauce they were delicious.
From, Mattias
Dear Kyla,
DeleteI also tell my mom and my dad about nutrition every Tuesday. They say that they wish they were in fourth grade at my school so they could have nutrition like me.
Sincerely, Amaya
Dear Becky,
ReplyDeleteIt was very fun to do. I don’t think there was a class favorite but it was a very fun February bash to do. The pictures were kind of hard to get but with teamwork it all worked out!
From Eli.
Dear Kyla,
ReplyDeleteI think it is very fun doing nutrition in our class. We have done many different kinds of foods in our class. At the beginning of the year, we were out at our school garden! It was really fun when we tasted new veggies in the garden.
-Alanis
Dear Becky,
ReplyDeleteWe don’t take votes like that because it might heart other peoples feelings.
Plus all of them are grate how would someone jest choose one.
By Alondra
Dear Sarah,
ReplyDeleteCooking was a very fun way to learn about veggies and fruit. I eat more veggies now because of nutrition. In nutrition we do not taste any veggies, we are now gardening and harvesting. We are now growing cabbage right now. If you could walk in our classroom and see cabbage sprouting out from under the deep dark soil.
From Eli
