Trapped for the Night at School?
What would you do if you were trapped in school because of a snowstorm?

Dear students,
ReplyDeleteIf I was trapped in school because of a snow storm I would think it going to be fun.
From Benjamin,
Dear Benjamin,
DeleteI would think it would be fun, too. Think of all the great activities we could do! We could play in the gym, play fantastic games of hide and seek, watch movies together...it would be a blast. It would be cold, but it would be SO FUN. What would you want to do?
From,
Mr. Pahl
Dear Benjamin,
DeleteI agree with you and Mr. Pahl because all you would do is be having fun. If the teachers were there I would say “Hi” to them like Ms. Gates and talk to her. (I want her as a fifth grade teacher.) I would ask if we could have a dance party and dance to Just dance 4 and 2014. We could play hangman on the whiteboards. We would have so much fun. Can we actually do that? I’m not kidding can we?
From,
Tori
Dear Tori,
DeleteI agree that it would be fun trapped the night at school because… well, what you said! I also want Mrs. Gates as my fifth grade teacher. I would also be worried and scared because I would miss my parents. Would you be worried and scared? If I was trapped there I would also not want my parents to be worried. Do you think your parents would be worried?
Sincerely, Kylé
Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteIf I was trapped in school during a snow storm, I would take deep breaths. I would put my hands on my thighs and say, “I am supported, I am supported.” It would take me a while to actually get over being in school without my Mom. Some people get home sick, and I am one of them, which means you don’t like being away without your Mom.
Sincerely, Evyn
Dear Evyn,
DeleteThat is a good idea! You have some great coping strategies. And you know what, YOU ARE SUPPORTED! We would all be here together, so we could all support each other. I think part of it might be sad because we wouldn't be with our families, but it would be temporary, so we could turn it into something really fun.
Take care,
Mr. Pahl
Dear Mr. Pahl,
ReplyDeleteIf i was stuck in a school from a snow storm i would freak out. It would be hard for me not to freak out if i was stuck in school all night.
from, Maximus
Dear Maximus,
DeleteWhy would you freak out? Am I that scary? Just kidding. I think it would be a lot of fun. I would try to make it fun for everyone even if you were freaking out a little bit.
From,
Mr. Pahl
Dear Maximus,
DeleteSometimes it is hard for me to stay calm, all you have to do is just don’t freak out because that’s one way people die: freaking out. I’d just stay peaceful and calm, but it would still be hard.
From, Kyle
Dear Maximus and Mr.Pahl,
DeleteI think it would be fun too. Mr. Pahl would maybe go on Mine craft on his computer and we can watch you in creative mode. Mr. Pahl isn’t that mean. He wouldn’t make us learn something all day. Okay well maybe he would. I would probably play Tag with Jackson, Cam, Amaya, and Mr. Pahl. I would also hang out with my honorary sister Savannah Luft. I would eat the food they would make us for lunch the next day. Over all I think it would be a really fun experience.
From,
Tori
Dear Mr. Pahl,
DeleteI would freak out because I would have no technology like my phone, my TV, my Xbox and so on. I would freak out without this stuff for a long time.
By, Maximus
Dear Evyn,
ReplyDeleteYou are right you should have strategies. I miss my mom and friends so bad! But since I read your message I had come up with some strategies. One of them is...have fun!
From: Elizabeth (in Vietnam)
Dear students,
ReplyDeleteIf I was trapped in school because of a snowstorm I would panic and run around like crazy, but when I stop running and it was night time I would just go to sleep. When I wake up I’ll be the first kid at school.
From Anny
Dear Anny,
DeleteI would probably panic, but inside my head. But the number one thing to not do is panic. So I would stay calm and try my best to fall asleep.
From, Kyle
Dear students,
ReplyDeleteIf I was at that school in Atlanta trapped in because of a snow storm, I would try my best to stay calm so nothing bad would happen. I would also love it because we could have a great time playing games and watching movies, but I wouldn't want my parents to be worried. But still! Who wouldn't want to spend the night at school?
From: Kylé
Dear to all,
ReplyDeleteIf I were trapped in the middle of the night at school it would be scary and fun at the same time!
Sincerely Ellis
Dear Ellis,
DeleteWhy would it be fun and scary? I mean for me it would be scary because I would be all alone in a school. How would you feel if you were trapped in school by yourself?
From, Anny
Dear Anny,
DeleteI agree that it would be scary being the only kid trapped inside the school. I would try to stay calm but it would still be scary.
Sincerely,
Kyle
